Liev's Bio
Liev owns and runs a small stage theater on Royal (Lucid Dreams Theater) with a small staff of full time employees. When a production isn't currently running Liev rents out the theater to show independent films during the evening.

Isaac Liev Schreiber was born on October 4th, 1967. Raised by his theatrical actor father and painter mother Liev was introduced to the artistic world at a young age. When he was five his parents divorced and he lived with his mother but never lost sight of the passion his father was involved with. As he grew up Liev strayed toward the creative arts in his studies and ended up attending the Hampshire College where he started following in his fathers footsteps by studying acting. While he enjoyed acting Liev found his true passion in the dramatic field was play writing. Liev ignored the advise of his professors and graduated from the Yale School of Drama in play writing rather than acting.

Instead of rushing off to Broadway after graduation Liev decided to travel, live life, and seek out inspiration. While traveling Liev picked up minor acting jobs on stage to help pay his expenses while he wrote his own manuscripts. Through his travels he ended up finding himself drawn to New Orleans and the artistic atmosphere. On his third trip through the city he stumbled into a deal to purchase his own theater and jumped at the chance. After a rocky start Liev finally got the theater up and on it's feet and out of debt with extra profits coming in. Once Liev knew he would be staying in New Orleans for a long while he ended up adding a family member, a little fox terrier named Chicken.

New Orleans also gave Liev more fortune when he ended up finding himself with a love life as well. Liev figured out he was gay early in his life but never fully allowed himself to take pride in his sexuality until he moved permanently to New Orleans. After playing the scene Liev started backing off from casual flings and looking for something more substantial. After meeting up at a local pub Liev hit it off with Viggo Mortensen, soon after they started dating. Nearly six months later the two are still dating but hesitant about giving each other official titles.

Liev is always open to new opportunities and enjoys meeting new people, especially those involved in the arts. When not at work he can often be found writing, checking out the other art scenes, or enjoying a quiet night down at the pub.
